A problem with Panoguide - Firefox ?

Hi James,
At least a couple of times recently I have had a problem with Panoguide on Firefox. After writing a reply in the forum I tried to go to Preview and the page crashed, with the tab flashing saying that it was loading. After that I couldn't fully close down Firefox.
Several times I have done the same thing without it crashing so it might not be anything to do with Panoguide.
If no one else has experienced a problem it must be something else on my system.
Cheers,
Pete

I don't think its a panoguide prob as ive been getting lock ups etc with FF3 since it did its auto update, on quite a few sites. Had to go into task manager to shut it down..
Im using Vista.

Hi,
I had the same problem today. I was editing a posting that I had sent and when I went to preview the edit before sending it off, Panoguide seized up.
I closed down and re-booted, when I re-opened Panoguide I had lost the option to edit my original posting.

Hi Pete,
I've noticed that firefox (both version 2 and 3) can get unstable particularly when loading plugins - Java, Flash, PDF documents etc, and especially when firefox has been running for some time (I tend to notice my whole system slows down and when I check, Firefox is chewing up 300Mb of memory for no obvious reason).
I've not noticed a particular problem with panoguide, but please everyone on firefox please reply to this thread to say whether you have had problems in Firefox 3 or not.
Pete do you have many add-ons in Firefox? Add-ons may contribute to the instability - personally I am a big fan of add-ons and have heavily customised my firefox.
Regards James

I get some annoyances with Firefox-3 too, but the problems seem to be with the browser and not the web sites. Mine is also laden with addons, but that's what I like about Firefox.
