PTGui, PTviewer.exe and Vista

Hello everybody.
I just bought a new computer with Vista Home Basic. At the same time I decided to switch to PTgui from Panoweaver 5.0 - and so far I love it. However I can't use the "preview" funcktion of PTgui. I tried to download and install PTViewe.exe and use that with the Preview function, but when I try that, Vista tells me
"PTViewer.exe has stopped working" Windows will close the program and look for at solution. "
it is not the whole exact message - but my poor translation from Danish. I hope you get the idea.
Have anybody experienced this problem, and might provide me with a solution? I really hope so
Thanks in advance.
Best regards MOrten Andersen

I rarely use the preview option, as the Panorama Editor window is largely adequate for that. However, I use FSPViewer.exe for viewing local spherical equirectangular images (from www.fsoft.it/panorama/fspviewer.htm ). That may offer a partial solution for you at least.

I read on another forum you are using the 64 bit version of Vista. Not all software will run on 64 bit.

G'day Morten,
There is a setting in PTGui under Tools/Options/Folders & Files were I think you can select your own viewer. One of the options there is to also use QuickTime.
Hope this works.
