Pano joining in the wrong place..? when shooting 360

Hi everyone,
I have been shooting some pano's which were not meant to be 360 degrees per say. but I have I have shot with all the way around, to make sure I could crop where I wanted. but almost every time, Autopano and PTGui have made the center of the pano where the two ends meet up?
I am still driving these two programs with my "L-plate" learners permit <this may just be an Australian Joke!>
How can I tell either programs that I want the other two ends to join and be the center?
Sorry if I haven't explained myself well enough, any help is greatly appreciated
thanks
Henrik

Hi Henrik Try changing the order of the images so that the frames you want to be in the centre are at either end of the image sequence John

Hi! In PtGui, open the Panorama Editor and with the left mouse button drag the image until you place the center where you want it to be. I hope I understood your question. Regards, Martin

Note that you may need to click the "Edit Entire Panorama" button to enable dragging of the whole panorama image. You can also use the "Set center point" button on the Panorama Editor window to bring a particular point to the centre. Or you can use the Numerical Transform option (123 button) to apply yaw adjustments to shift the whole image left or right, which won't risk upsetting the levelling of the panorama. Finally, if you have the already stitched 360 panorama image, you can adjust the centre in Photoshop by using Filter->Other->Offset with the Wrap Around option checked.

If you convert from equirectangular with Pano2VR you can quickly pan around to the centre point you want with this application too. Saves the time it takes to re-blend and re-render with Autopano Pro or PTGui. Mark PS There are lots of other tools in Pano2VR to save as 2D panoramas as well as joined-up 360s.
