Newbie: how to do the button picture ?

Hello, I would like to ask the experts here of how you do the job of having the button picture without seeing the tripot or unwanted stuff (my shoes...) on when doing the 360x360° pano? I read that some of you don't do it with the tripot so just free handed.
1. are you using the fisheye for this or must a normal lense be used to do this? 2. if you don't use the tripot then do you use photoshop or other to erase or wipe your feets off the picture? Thanks a lot.

Hi Jeff.
Not an expert but can tell you you may take hand held nadir shot (the floor) or u may use a tripod that extends out. This image is then de fished using software or photoshop plugin i believe, and then a section of it may be cut and pasted into your pano shot. Hope that helps. John.

Erik has a pretty good tutorial but you really need to know a lttile bit about Photoshop. PTMac and Cubicconverter help too. But the basic priciple is the same.
