Erik has a pretty good tutorial but you really need to know a lttile bit about Photoshop. PTMac and Cubicconverter help too. But the basic priciple is the same.

On my Mac G5 at work I have a 23" Cinema Display (1920x1200 hidef). the Panos that are at least 5K look great too. But you can get the sony 24 or the Dell 24 which uses the same glass for a little less. But you pay for industrial design with the Mac.

What do you mean by "LCD"? I have a Dell 20" widescreen. Fullscreen panos look great!

Auer-Control System

Wow! Thanks for all the response. After looking at all the options, I noticed that either everybody is using the same pneumatic pole (column) or it is a common design. And that Auer's fee is really in their control box and not the tripod/column. Especially ater seeing the tripod for less than $6000US.

You guys saved me a chunk of change.

Thanks
RevMark

PS: I am leaning toward the ElevatedPhotos.com system.

Has anybody seen in person or used the Auer-Control 16 meter "camera on a stick" system?

I am very intersted in this system. Especially since it looks like they are making it available to sale.

Matt, the secret is that you politely make a few comments about the situation. If they don't comply. Let the attorneys handle it. It doesnt do anybody any good to start flame wars in the forums and it makes you look unprofessional.

As much as I would like to save a couple a hundred bucks on buying this other device, I know yours has a track record and longevity and I will most likely purchase the 360P when I can afford it.

I've seen the pics of the other machine. even if the guts were completely different they were really stupid to make the thing appear so similar the the 360P (especially since you have prior art).

But along those lines, take a look at Microsoft vs Apple. MS sees a great many things that is really cool about OS X and they have move to incorporating similar things into Vista (please don't think that I am comparing the 360P to Vista. God no! I would not insult you like that. wink

Anyway, good luck in resolving the situation. I am sure our have a very good case. I know if I was in your place I would do the same.

Have a wonderful week.

You know what's bloody funny? Here's Debbie intrducing what could possibly be an IP rights violation. You have Matt making threats. Then you have Debbie coming back with information of design changes. But then Matt somewhere in between registers vrpanorama.co.uk.

But I do have to say, I had the money I would probably get a 360P. The war of words is very immature. Especially the cybersquatting on vrpanarama.co.uk.
